Connect LineUp to your AI assistant

LineUp has two connectors for AI assistants, built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Use the assistant you already have; LineUp does not charge for the connectors, and the AI's usage is on your own AI account.

LineUp studios

public, read only

For anyone: find massage, spa and beauty studios on lineup.direct, their services and prices, and free appointment times. No sign-in. Booking is finished on the studio's LineUp page.

https://api.lineup.direct/api/mcp/public

Ask e.g. "a massage tomorrow in Šibenik between 17 and 19".

LineUp Private

for studios, sign-in

For studio owners, managers and staff they allow: run your studio from your assistant: the schedule, shifts and breaks, appointments, clients, services, absences, settings and numbers, with what LineUp lets you do.

https://api.lineup.direct/api/mcp/private

Ask e.g. "who works tomorrow", "give Ana a shift on Friday from 9 to 15", "book Frane a 30-minute massage on Thursday at 17".

How to connect

Add the address above as a connector in your assistant. For LineUp Private you then sign in to LineUp and choose the studios, whether it may only read or also change, and for how long. Menu names change between versions of each assistant.

ClaudeSettings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the address. For LineUp Private you then sign in to LineUp.
ChatGPTSettings → Apps (Connectors) → add a custom MCP server with the address; sign-in: OAuth. Custom servers may need developer mode.
Grokgrok.com/connectors → New connector → Custom, paste the address and sign in.
GeminiConnected apps → Custom apps, add the address. Google currently offers this to some personal accounts only (region and language limits).
Mistral Le ChatA workspace admin adds a custom MCP connector with the address; members then sign in with their own LineUp account.
PerplexitySettings → Connectors → custom remote connector, on paid plans.
Cursor, Claude Code, VS Code and other MCP clientsAdd a remote (Streamable HTTP) MCP server with the address. For LineUp Private, create a key in LineUp → AI assistant and send it in the x-api-key header.

The DeepSeek app and the Microsoft Copilot app do not take custom connectors yet.

Safe by design

  • You sign in to LineUp yourself (OAuth); the assistant never sees your password. A key can be created instead for tools without sign-in.
  • You choose the studios, read only or read and change, and how long the connection lasts. The assistant can do only what you may do in LineUp.
  • Every change is shown first and happens only when you confirm it; messages to clients are always named in the preview.
  • Every action is listed under LineUp → AI assistant, where you can disconnect at once. Staff connect only once the owner or a manager lets them.

Privacy and support

What an assistant reads is sent to the AI provider you chose and is handled under its terms. LineUp keeps a short log of the assistant's actions for 180 days, without client contact details. Privacy policy: AI assistants · Terms of service
